Meet Tamara.

Welcome! I specialize in treating OCD, BFRB's, & anxiety. The fears that take you down rabbit-holes of rumination, obsessive thoughts that feel all-consuming, rituals, compulsions, urges, & hours of "spiraling". The thoughts that you know are "illogical" but feel so real. You've tried to "just stop thinking about it" but you can't stop the thoughts from coming back. I want you to know that you're not alone, it's not your fault, & there is hope. You were never meant to live a life controlled by worry, panic, or fear. I know that your unwanted thoughts do not represent who you are, so I strive to convey acceptance & nonjudgement.

I specialize in using Exposure & Response Prevention for OCD, which is a form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy that is highly effective. I also work with BFRB's, such as hair-pulling and skin-picking by using Habit Reversal Training (HRT). I also provide consultation to therapists who wish to gain education about OCD and ERP.

You've made the first step...yay you! It may have taken you many years or you may have seen many other therapists before arriving here. You will receive a warm, understanding, & empathetic approach in our work together. I encourage you to call me for a consult so we can see whether we are the best fit for each other!

Meet Jaelyn.

I am here to hold space for you. I value the therapeutic relationship as trust and collaboration is very important in recovery. I am passionate about working with adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma in their life. I am currently only doing one on one therapy.

The world is going through various changes and challenges almost daily. Due to this, we tend to forget to prioritize our own mental health as we are struggling to work through the chaos the world is giving us. This can result in depression, anxiety, and a loss of self. I am here to help you identify what parts of your life are challenging you the most and find ways to conquer these areas with distress tolerance and coping skills.

In addition to my trauma-informed approach, I utilize a blend of therapeutic modalities altering them in order to fit your personality and unique needs. This blend includes dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused, and narrative therapy.

I believe in a collaborative approach, keeping you informed and in the front seat of your journey the entire time. You and I will work together to find new insights and observations without judgement. We will learn to understand how trauma has affected you throughout your life and how you may be holding on to it today. In addition, we will also focus on your strengths and observe how your accomplishments and values have not only gotten you to where you are today, but also how they can help you continue to grow.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you through this journey.

Meet Kat.

The decision to seek therapy is not an easy one.  I commend you for being here. What I can tell you is that you’ve already made a big step toward bettering yourself. The awareness you have will continue to benefit you through this process and keep you striving to find the missing link in your everyday living.

One thing you can expect from me is a space free from judgment. A space where you can share your thoughts and fears and know our conversations are kept confidential and met with the utmost sincerity. I pride myself on inclusivity and the notion that the world we live in is anything but that. Society can be geared toward oppression and marginalization, so just know that what you’re going through will be considered through that lens.

My background consists of 5 years of community mental health as well as 2 years of clinical training at the Veteran Administration Hospital. This information is helpful as it gives you an idea that trauma, harm reduction, comorbid disorders, and compassion are inherent practices that make me a great choice as a therapist. I have a vast array of clinical knowledge in substance use, depression, personality disorders, anxiety, PTSD, complex, historical trauma, and sexual disorders.

Whether you're seeking brief-solution-focused, short-term therapy, or you're looking for something longer and more in-depth, I am here to help guide you. We’ll create a treatment plan that focuses on your individualized needs and goals and is something you can value as you follow your journey to better health. Whatever you’re looking for is just a call away.
